Mens Tennis Racks Up 23 Total Wins at the Four-In-The-Fall Tournament

TUSCALOOSA, AL – The University of Alabama men’s tennis team concluded the Four-In-The-Fall tournament on Sunday, Sept. 19. The team tallied 17 singles wins and 6 doubles wins after an impressive weekend.

The three-day tournament kicked off on Friday, Sept. 17. The Crimson Tide finished the day with 5 singles wins and 3 doubles wins.

The Tide continued their strong play in the second day of the tournament with 7 singles wins and 1 doubles win. They wrapped up the competition on day three with 5 singles wins and 2 doubles wins.

Five Crimson Tide players made an appearance on the tournament team; Filip Planinsek and Joao Ferreira made the singles teams in the Crimson Division, while Enzo Aguiard earned a spot in the Houndstooth Division. Patrick Kaukovalta and German Samofalov received the nod for doubles in the Crimson Division.

The team will look to add to a stellar opening performance on Oct. 1 in Starkville, Miss. at the Bulldog Invitational.
