TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Coming off the win against Mississippi State, Alabama is looking to gain another win against the Texas A&M Aggies to make them 3-0 against (current) SEC teams this season.

At the start of the first quarter the Crimson Tide made a number of mistakes against the Bulldogs which led to a furious Nick Saban. With a new approach the Crimson Tide quickly turned it around. Alabama’s rushing game was rolling, racking up three rushing touchdowns – split between Jalen Milroe, Jase McClellan and Roydell Williams.

The Aggies are coming off a 34-22 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks. With Conner Weigman out with an injury Max Johnson has been the one to fill the quarterback role for the Aggies. Wide receiver Evan Stewart enters the SEC West showdown coming off a game with two receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown and certainly looks to be a major target and threat for The Crimson Tide defense.

The Crimson Tide defense contained Will Rogers and the Bulldog’s offense to 17 points, leaving Rogers with only 107 yards and three interceptions. The Tide also finished the game with 80 tackles, four sacks, and eight tackles for loss. The defense also had a pick six and intercepted Rodgers three times on the night.

Despite concerns about Milroe’s passing and decision making, he heads to College Station coming off a great game against the Bulldogs.  In that game, he completed 10 of 12 passes for 169 yards and ran the ball 11 times for 69 yards and two touchdowns. Milroe and the offense also had zero turnovers.

The Aggies had a stat packed defensive game against the Razorbacks ending the game with 64 tackles, seven sacks, four deflections, a pick six and 15 tackles for loss. Coming into this game versus the Tide, the Aggies defense is going to have their hands full going against a red-hot Milroe and McClellan. The latter led the way for Alabama’s running backs by finishing the game with 63 yards, 15 carries and a touchdown.

The game will start Oct. 7 at 2:30 p.m. on CBS, with both teams looking to remain undefeated in SEC play.
