Maddie Huiet is the Sports Director for WVUA FM, covering Alabama athletics and regional sports with a reporter’s instinct and a broadcaster’s energy. A Cincinnati native, her passion for sports storytelling started early through years spent around live sporting events, shaping her drive to work in sports media.
Huiet began her on-air career at Archbishop Moeller High School, where she became the school’s first female sideline reporter, gaining live game experience and setting the foundation for her broadcasting career. Now a student at the University of Alabama, she has built experience across multiple platforms as a sportswriter for The Crimson White and as a sports podcast host.
