TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – To say that the tide will be rolling into conference play with lots of momentum would be an understatement. Alabama holds an impressive 8-1-1 record as well as a 12 game home win streak dating back to last season. From upsetting the fifth ranked team in the country, to dominating Chattanooga, you could say it’s been a very big week for the tide.

The lethal Alabama offense got rolling early in this one, with Ashlynn Serepca, Gianna Paul and Kate Henderson all scoring within 15 minutes of each other in the first half.

The second half scoring was carried by Macy Clem, Emelie Kobler and Sydney Vincens.

The entire game was an all around clinic displayed by the Tide. Alabama was on the attacking end for what seemed to be the whole game, putting up 28 shots compared to zero from the Mocs. All six of the tide’s goals were scored by different players. “It was great to see a few of our usual suspects get on the sheet, as well as a few new players,” Coach Hart said.

Tide Mid-fielder Kat Rogers stuffed the stat sheet tonight, racking up three assists. Rogers stayed humble and gave credit to her team stating, “They make me look good just putting circle into square. All I have to do is put the ball around them.” Rogers continued to praise her team, “We have great players on this team, top to bottom and I’m really just proud of this team putting on a professional performance tonight.”

The tide look to stay hot this week as they travel to Knoxville to take on Tennessee. The team will almost certainly be ranked at the highest point in program history as they head into the bulk of SEC play, and they plan on using that as motivation to get through the back half of this already historic season.
