TUSCALOOSA, Ala.- The Tide took on the Aggies on Thursday Feb. 25 at Coleman Coliseum.
It was a close game at the end of the first quarter, A&M led the Tide by five points (19-14).
The Crimson Tide took the lead early in the second quarter, but A&M didn’t go away as they took the lead back and ended the half with a score of 42-29 Aggies.
Alabama battled long and hard to cut the 21-point deficit down to just five late in the fourth quarter.
Bama outscored the Aggies 23-11 in the fourth quarter.
But the Tide came up just short from a win, ending the game 73-67 to No. 3 Texas A&M.
Guard Jordan Lewis put up a tough 21 points, five assists and one rebound in 38 minutes.
Forward Jasmine Walker recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Alabama heads into their final game of the regular season before tournament play against Arkansas on Sunday Feb. 28 at 5 p.m.
