March 26, 2021, The Crimson Tide took on the number four team in the country Ole Miss in the first game of a double header on Friday. The Crimson Tide had Tyler Ras on the mound who pitched six innings while only allowing five hits and one run. The Rebels jumped out to the lead in the second off the bat of Hayden Dunhurst who hit a homerun into right field.
The Crimson Tide would come back and grab the lead in the third inning after a homerun by both Owen Diodati and Sam Praytor. The Tide would head into the sixth inning with a two to one lead when Drew Williamson would extend the lead to three to one with a solo homerun.
In the ninth the Rebels put together a rally to score eight runs and take the nine to three lead off of several hits and home runs. In the bottom of the ninth Peyton Wilson hit a three run home run to make the score nine to six. However, the Crimson Tide’s effort was cut short and the final score ended nine to six as Ole Miss got the win.
