Brown originally committed to Texas A&M on Oct. 27, but flipped to Alabama on Dec. 22. Brown is the No. 17 defensive tackle in the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports composite.

He stands at 6-foot-4, 282 pounds and is from Lamar High School in Arlington Texas. Brown’s de-commitment brought Alabama down to the No. 8 recruiting class this year. The Crimson Tide has 12 four-star recruits.
