Cornerback Eddie Smith signed with Alabama on Wednesday in front of Salmen High School in Louisiana. The Slidell, Louisiana native chose Alabama over Tennessee and Mississippi State.
The three-star corner is the No. 15 player from Louisiana and the No. 42 cornerback in the country according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Smith took his official visit on Jan. 26 and received his offer from Alabama on Jan. 11.
The six-foot 180-pound corner is the fourth corner in Alabama’s class and is the 15th member of the 2018 class.
