The Alabama softball team maintained it’s top-10 ranking in the week two USA Today/NCFA poll, coming in at No. 10. The Crimson Tide slipped to No. 13 in the Softball.

Alabama went 3-1 last weekend in the Black and Gold Invitational in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Alabama won the first three games by a combined score of 33-2, defeating Southern Miss, McNeese and Mississippi Valley State.

The Crimson Tide dropped its finale of the tournament, to Baylor, ranked No. 8/10 this week, 2-1. The loss dropped Alabama one spot in the NCFA and four spots in the USA polls.
