As the first week of the 2017 NFL season comes to a close, some Alabama alumni have embarked on a new quest to lead their teams to a championship, while others are hungry to make the leap to the game’s upper echelon. Baltimore Ravens linebacker and two-time Pro Bowler C.J. Mosley made eight tackles to help the Ravens shut out the Cincinnati Bengals. He also intercepted a pass from Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton in the end zone and returned it 33 yards.
Detroit Lions defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson made three tackles against the Arizona Cardinals and also forced a fumble by Cardinals star running back David Johnson. The fumble was recovered by the Lions, who trailed 17-9 at the time but rallied to win 35-21.
