LaBryan Ray, a defensive end, signed with Alabama on Wednesday just after noon.
Ray was ranked as the No. 26 prospect in the country by 247sports composite. He was also ranked as the No. 1 strong-side defensive end in the country and the No. 1 prospect in the state of Alabama.
Ray played at James Clemens high school in Madison, Ala. There he accumulated 99 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, four pass breakups and a fumble returned for a touchdown.
