Soon after Alabama coach Nick Saban announced the hiring of Steve Sarkisian, he was spotted observing the Crimson Tide’s football practice today during the media-viewing period. Sarkisian formerly coached Southern Cal and was an offensive coach alongside Lane Kiffin during the Pete Carroll era.

During the media-viewing period, several position drills were in process, preparing for the first home game against Western Kentucky on Saturday.
