With Dalvin Tomlinson sidelined for a few days with a twisted ankle after Saturday’s scrimmage, someone needed to step up on the defensive line. During Monday’s viewing session that person appeared to be Da’Shawn Hand.
When the defensive linemen worked on drills designed to help them rush the passer Hand lined up in the third slot behind Jonathan Allen and Da’Ron Payne. He also lined up alongside those two when the line worked with blocking sleds.
