In 2012, Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth were two freshman
paired against each other in the NCAA golf national championship. Spieth went
on to win against Thomas and Texas clinched the national title against Alabama
3-2. Now four years later both are playing in the Masters. Spieth won the
Masters last year, but for Thomas this will be his first appearance.

Thomas played another season for Alabama and helped the Crimson Tide win its first national title in 2013. While Spieth left early to play in the
PGA, Thomas did not receive his card until 2014.

Thomas had an excellent 2015 rookie season to earn his first
Masters invite. He won his first tournament at the end of October at the CIMB
classic. He beat 2013 Masters champion, Adam Scott, by just one stroke. Thomas
had seven top-10 finishes over the season, and is now ranked No. 34 in the
Official World Golf Rankings.

Thomas is in group 10 paired with No. 8 in the world Dustin
Johnson and Emiliano Grillo. Their Thursday tee time is set for 8:59 a.m. CT
