Shawn Jennings, a defensive back, signed to play football for the University of Alabama on Wednesday.
He is one of eight early enrollees already on campus. He’s 6-foot-2, weighs 217 pounds and was rated a 3-star prospect by 247 Sports.
He played for Dadeville High School in Dadeville, Alabama. His team finished this past season 7-6. Jennings had four solo tackles, six total, and a blocked punt.
He also played quarterback in high school. He threw for 1,028 yards and 15 touchdown. He complete 55-of-81 passes with three interceptions. He also had 25 carries for 102 rushing yards.
