By (Tyler Waldrep) The University of Alabama started its spring semester on Wednesday, but the basketball team didn’t seem worn out from its first day in class as it beat No. 19 South Carolina 73-50.
Riley Norris scored a career-high 27 points and led The team with seven rebounds.This was Alabama’s first win over a ranked opponent since
the Crimson Tide beat Kentucky on Jan. 18, 2011.South Carolina’s Michael Carrera finished the game with a double-double,
scoring 14 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.This was Alabama’s largest margin of victory this year.
