In the first half Avery Johnson’s players couldn’t help, but smile when they huddled for timeouts.

When the half ended the team walked into the locker room with a 38-26 lead, but the lead wasn’t big enough to last when Alabama struggled with numerous turnovers early in the second half.

When the final buzzer sounded the Crimson Tide lost to the Ducks 72-68.

Justin Coleman scored a career-high 24 points and recorded a career-high six assists.Alabama struggled to contain Oregon’s Dillon Brooks who scored 23 points. Oregon scored 22 points off of turnovers compared to Alabama’s seven points. Alabama actually shot better beyond the arc. The Crimson Tide finished 9-21 (42.9 percent) while Oregon finished 6-16 (37.5 percent). …read more
