OXFORD|Alabama shut down the Ole Miss Rebels Saturday night, defeating the Rebels 52-7. However, the start of the game had many Tide fans in panic, as the Crimson Tide appeared destined for yet another slow start. GAINSEVILLE| What looked like a possible stumbling block in Alabama’s season turned out to be one more stepping stone for the Crimson Tide, as the Tide beat Florida 38-10 to bring its record to 5-0 (2-0). Tide cruises to 27-11 win over Penn State

STATE COLLEGE| What started out as rough waters became easy sailing for the Alabama Crimson Tide, as the team defeated the Penn State Nittany Lions 27-11, moving Alabama to 2-0 on the season. Penn State drove 54 yards on its opening drive, controlling the clock for 7:34 minutes before kicking a field goal to go up 3-0 on the Tide. Tide finds new weapon in Maze

Much has been made about The University of Alabama’s potent run attack, with Heisman candidate Trent Richardson leading the way. However, Saturday’s game against Kent State showed the Crimson Tide that they have another weapon up their sleeves if need be. Missed opportunities take Tide’s victory

It was the missed opportunities that took Alabama’s victory away. At the time, neither the team nor the fans knew it, but in those two turnovers and two field goals, Alabama lost precious points that could’ve won the game.
