Senior year is always a special year for a player. After four years of hard work, their time has finally paid off. They can now look back on their four years as a member of the Crimson Tide and remember the hard fought victories.

Jimmie Taylor – Standing at 6-foot-10 people notice the 22 year old from Greensboro, Alabama. Jimmy Taylor finished his Alabama career as the sixth player ever to record 200 blocks in a career, finishing with 206. Taylor played in 133 consecutive games, finishing second all time in school history. He was also the co-captain for the last two years. He finished with a total of 630 points with his career high being 15 in a game, which he did twice in the 2014-2015 season.

Katie Bailey – Katie Bailey finished her career as a NCAA Champion in the uneven bars. She won the vault NCAA Championship in 2016. She also finished as the NCAA Champion in the uneven bars for two straight years. Her season best in the uneven bars came in the SEC Championship where she scored a 9.95. She finished the fall on the Dean’s list.

Krystal Rivers – The 5-foot-11 product of Ramsay High School finished her volleyball career strong. In her last year Krystal Rivers set the Alabama record for kills with 2148 and points with 2506. She finished as the SEC Player of the Year and the SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year. She had 705 kills her senior season compared to 451 kills her junior year. She finished with a season high of 38 kills against Georgia and 41 points against Southern Miss.

Brittany Thomas – Brittany Thomas finished her career top 10 in two different school records. Thomas finished ninth in kills with 1314 and fifth in digs with 1,995. The senior from Chandler Ariz. finished with 218 kills and 333 digs in her final campaign.

Connor Oslin – Connor Oslin finished his swimming career as an all-American. He finished second at the 200 backstroke and third at the 100 backstroke at the NCAA Championship. He owns the school record for the 100 backstroke, which he set eight hours before his current time of 44.56. With the time he is ranked fifth all time, and first all time in the SEC. He owns the school record in the 200 backstroke as well, taking it from current teammate Christopher Reid. Oslin finished as a three time SEC champion in the 100 backstroke, making him the first Alabama since Vlad Polyakov to win three consecutive years. He currently has the second best time for Alabama in the 100 butterfly with a time of 46.16. He finishes as the 2017 SEC Male Swimming and Diving Scholar Athlete of the year.

Sydney Littlejohn – Sydney Littlejohn is the ace of the No. 14 Crimson Tide. She finished her junior year 23-7 with a 2.43 ERA, with six shutouts in 14 complete games. She also struck out 114 batters compared to just 44 walks. The product of Rusk High School is the only pitcher in Alabama program history with multiple perfect games in a season and just the third pitcher to throw three no-hitter in a season. As of April, 26 she has a 14-4 record. In a complete game shutout Littlejohn finished with a career high of 14 strikeouts.

Erin Routliffe – Erin Routliffe has been one of the most consistent players for Alabama in the last four years. When she leaves, she will leave as a NCAA Champion. As a freshman and a sophomore Routliffe was part of the double team that was the last team standing, winning the NCAA Doubles Championship. Last season she was named to her third straight SEC first team, and went to her second consecutive NCAA Singles Tournament. So far in her senior season she is first on the team with 17 doubles wins and 16 singles wins, which is second on the team.

Antibahs Kosgei – Antibahs Kosgei transferred to Alabama from South Plains College. Since then he has been one of the most dominate runners for Alabama. He won the NCAA South Regional 10 race. He also won the SEC Cross Country Championship, on his way to winning the SEC Men’s Runner of the Year in 2015. In his 2016 cross country season he finished sixth at the NCAA South Regional and finished eighth at the SEC Championship. He ran a personal best time in the 5000 meters at the SEC Indoor Track and Field Championships. His time was the ninth fastest in school history. He also set a personal best in the 10000 meters in the outdoor season. His personal best was 28:35.79, which was the third fastest time in school history.
