Jordan Lewis has been a standout all year for the Crimson Tide, and her work paid off as she was named SEC Freshman of the Week for a school-record third time this season on Monday.

Alabama is 2-1 in SEC play so far this year, and won its first road conference game since 2014. Lewis’s play was a big reason for the wins. After recording seven assists in the last two games, she is averaging six assists in conference play, for a season average of 4.7 a game which has her ranked third in the SEC.

Lewis is also tied for sixth in minutes per game with 36 minutes. She is the only freshman ranked in the top 15 in that category. She is currently fourth on the team in scoring with 10.3 points per game and she is averaging 4.3 rebounds.

Lewis and the rest of the Crimson Tide take on Kentucky on Thursday at 7 p.m.
