University of Alabama football coach Nick Saban addressed the media Monday after his team dominated Mississippi State, 51-3, over the weekend and prepares to host Chattanooga on Saturday. The game will kickoff at 6 p.m. in Bryant-Denny Stadium and air on ESPN2.

Here are some of things Saban said worth noting:

Running back Bo Scarbrough has a sprained knew. Medically, the coaching staff believes he is OK. He’ll prepare this week, but “it’s not just about what the doctor says. It’s also about what the player says.” If Scarbrough makes enough progress, he should be back in time for Saturday’s game.Saban thought defense back Tony Brown played well against Mississippi State, especially with the interception. As always, there are still areas for improvement. Alabama is undefeated and No. 1 in the county, but “Nobody can be satisfied with where they are right now. I’m certainly not satisfied with where we are right now.”Saban quoted “Shawshank Redemption” while saying, “You’re either busy living or you’re busy dying.” He connected it to the Crimson Tide. The team is either getting better or worse. It’s not staying the same. On running back Joshua Jacobs: “He went through a few weeks there where maybe he didn’t have quite the production, but I really thought he looked like his old self in the last game. He was very productive.” Saban believes margin of victory should not be a factor in College Football Playoff rankings. Offensive lineman Alphonse Taylor (concussion) is not expected to come back. Saban said it’d be a bonus if he did, but he doesn’t think he will.

Other important notes:

The 2016 Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn will officially kick off at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 26, the SEC office announced Monday. The Alabama coaching staff recognized 11 players of the week:Offense: Bradley Bozeman, O.J. Howard, Jalens Hurts and Jonah Williams Defense: Ryan Anderson, Da’Ron Payne and Dalvin TomlinsonSpecial teams: Adam Griffith, Keith Holcombe, JK Scott and Levi WallaceHurts, the Crimson Tide’s quarterback, was also selected as the SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week. Howard, a tight end, was named a semifinalist for the 2016 John Mackey Award.
