Redshirt senior middle blocker Krystal Rivers earned SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the fourth time this season after a weekend that saw her post 56 kills on a .425 hitting percentage in two matches. Both totals led the Alabama volleyball team, and she also had a team-high six aces.

Rivers had 31 kills Sunday against Ole Miss, marking the fifth match this season Rivers posted at least 30 kills in a match. She also added 11 digs for her sixth double-double of the year.

Currently, Rivers is second in Alabama history with 1,960 career kills. She trails Erin Heffner’s top spot by just 130 kills.

Alabama faces Tennessee at home Friday night at 6 p.m. before hosting Kentucky on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
