Play sheets were raised in the air as scout teams ran against certain Alabama defensive and offensive units.

The defensive backs were working against scout team players who imitated Western Kentucky wide receivers Taywan Taylor, Lucky Jackson, Nacarius Fant and tight end Shaquille Johnson, while the offensive line worked against a scout team defensive front seven.

Jake Long impersonated WKU defensive tackle Evan Sayner. Daniel Powell impersonated WKU outside linebacker Der’Quione. Derrick Gore impersonated WKU free safety Jason Johnson.

Other Alabama players were practicing as WKU defensive ends Nick Dawson-Brents, Tanner Reeves, outside linebacker Drew Davis.
