Littlejohn (1-1) allowed two runs on four hits and struck out four. Right-hander Alexis Osorio pitched two innings in relief. She gave up two hits but struck out five.

Offensively, Andrea Hawkins led the team, going 3-4. Infielder Demi Turner started as the leadoff. She finished with two hits, a double and a triple. She went 2-3 with a walk. Infielder Marisa Runyon went 2-3 with a walk and a strikeout. Utility Chandler Dare had a team-high four RBI and finished the day 2-4 at the plate.

Alabama rattled off 12 hits on the day to finish the tournament with four wins. Since 2011, the Crimson Tide has finished every opening weekend with four or more wins.
