It was business as usual for Alabama on Monday.

Prior to practice players talked about the need to change gears. Texas A&M is a different kind of opponent and the Crimson Tide is not afraid to treat them as such. However, none of those differences were on display during the media’s viewing period.

Practice Notes:

Quarterbacks such Jake Coker and Alec Morris threw passes to a group of wide receivers that included Chris Black and Richard Mullaney among others. Kenyan Drake, despite getting more involved as a receiver lately, participated in drills with fellow running backs Derrick Henry and Damien Harris.Linebackers like Reuben Foster worked on drills that require the linebacker to shadow a receiver on the field. Their ability to do that effectively in the game could be critical when Texas A&M and Christian Kirk attempt to get going against Alabama on Saturday. …read more
